Ricco, one of the most artistic and creative and funny Motor Babies you will ever meet, has a passion for all things Prince. For quite some time now (he's into his fifth soul now, so he says), he has been airbrushing Prince's image on many article of clothing, most notably jackets. If you have been to any Detroit Crawl event, partied with the Chicagonation NPGMC crew at The Berlin, have been to Paisley Park or even the March 6, 2002, One Nite Alone ... With Prince gig at The Detroit Opera House, you might have been privvy to his creative style at work. In fact, Ricco had his second meet and greet with Prince at the Detroit gig (his first is a funny story at the Celebration II in 2001 -- have Ricco tell you it). If you recall from previous reports on Prince.Org, the AMP, and here on this website, during the soundcheck Prince called out Ricco, who was trying to contain his joy for sitting in the ochestra pit. Well, after fellow Detroit Crawlers called out Ricco's name, Prince said he has seen his creations before (Chicago a few nights before, and in January 2002 at The Park). Before sauntering up from the back of the Opera House to the stage, Prince said to Ricco that he owed Prince. And Ricco obliged and said he would do anything. Presently, Ricco is cooking up a cool jacket design for Prince and is planning on giving it to Prince, in person. Ricco ! What does the design look like? Can we see it first?
